The Asics Gel-Noosa Tri 10 has a super lightweight, fast platform that's perfect for Tri-Athletes who are looking for a shoe that will cope with long IronMan distances. Additional speed is given from a propulsion plate that gives an amazing spring loaded ride, driving you to the finish line.
Featuring a re-engineered Solyte Midsole, that works exactly like the previous Solyte midsole, but somehow Asics have managed to shave off a little bit of weight, that essentially helps to add to the over all lightness of this incredible shoe.
There's a new mesh section on a seamless upper that offers a great no-sew construction thats brilliant for Tri-Athletes because if you don't want to wear socks, you don't have to worry about the potential of chafing or irritation. The mesh allows air circulation with a breathability that keeps your foot feeling fresh and dry.
There's a grip section on the tongue and heel for faster transitions. The shoe also has elasticated laces that also vastly improves transition time, so you're straight off your bike and into the run without any time consuming problems. The Trusstic System offers incredible torsional rigidity, giving you piece of mind when coming across any uneven surfaces.
The shoe also features a nice amount of mild to moderate stability with the DuoMax midsole, which is really import for longer course races, like half and full IronMan distances. The 10th edition still features the excellent lightweight Ahar rubber, the highly durable rubber provides incredible abrasion resistance and prolongs the life of the shoe, making it a very good investment indeed!
The heel is protected from impact shock thanks to the Asics Rearfoot Gel system that absorbs shock and stabilizes the foot during impact. The base of the shoe features a Guidance Line that decouples the tooling under the shoe and ensures a stable and efficient gait cycle. And finally, thanks to glow in the dark material the shoe can be easily seen in low light conditions.
California Slip Lasting
The shoe upper is pulled over the last and then attached to the midsole. The result is a lighter shoe, good for those with rigid feet who need more motion.
Forefoot GEL
ASICS GEL is a shock absorption system that uses silicone to satisfy the needs of both amateurs and professional athletes. Forefoot GEL reduces the force of the load during push, increasing performance and drastically reducing the risk of injury.
Guidance Line
Guidance Line places a visible groove in the mid and outsole that follows the foot's center of pressure from heel to toe. The result is a more adaptive running platform, creating a smoother transition from heel strike to toe-off with each stride. The Guidance Line thus helps runners to maintain a natural, efficient gait, especially over long distances.
I.G.S.
The Impact Guidance System (I.G.S.) is an Asics design philosophy. It aims to make shoe components from rear to midfoot and forefoot to work together effectively to allow the body to perform in a natural manner. Asics designers strive to compliment, not correct, how the legs and feet move.

ASICS GEL is a shock absorption system that uses silicone to satisfy the needs of amateurs and professional athletes alike. Rearfoot GEL offers omni-directional shock absorption, it not only absorbs harmful shock, but helps to stabilize impact forces on the heel.

Solyte cushioning materials combine both bounce and durability, yet there light enough for long runs.
AHAR+
A thiner and lighter version of AHAR, but with the same resistant effects, the AHAR+ rubber is placed strategically over the outsole to improve strenght and reduce excessive wear.
Propulsion Trusstic
Propulsion Trusstic: Mimicking the plantar fascia in the arch of your foot, it assists your run by propelling you forward. The special highly flexible thermoplastic unit placed at the front (between the sole and midsole) promotes a more efficient propulsion phase. By absorbing and converting impact blows on the heel and midfoot, it helps the foot to be transformed from a flexible structure into a power-house of thrust.
Dynamic Duomax
Dynamic DuoMax Support System is a dual density midsole with a softer top layer for more sensory feedback and added comfort.
